Double flaw is a term for people with multiple disabilities, such as sensory defects associated with motor defects. In addition, in the United States, it is a classification of special education in which students are eligible for services through Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, or IDEA.

Depending on the definition, intellectual disability can be included in the term "double defect". Individuals usually have more than one significant disability, such as orthopedic disorders, sensory disorders, and/or behavioral or emotional problems. Under IDEA, students are labeled with some incompetence when their educational disabilities require more than services available only for one of their disabilities. For example, if a student has developmental disabilities, emotional inadequacies, and visual impairments, they can be classified as having multiple defects. However, not every student who has more than one defect accepts this classification.
